Palesa Thompo better known as Candice T was born and bred in a small village called Modikwe, near Brits in the Northwest Province, She is a Performing Artist , songwriter, actress and a fierce dancer who
Has been developing and growing in her craft, Her love for music is dated back in her tertiary days where she gained her experience on children theatre, Educational theatre and acting
She is mostly focused on Afro house and Afro pop music genres
CANDICE T MUSICAL JOURNEY
In June 2017, Candice T established an entertainment company named Candi Fam Entertainment with her business partner and manager kutullo Mogakane which she does all her work under, The label has gradually been successful by showcasing her talents
Her first single was released in June 2018 titled ASHIDIWE, however she made waves across the streets and social medias with her two single songs titled MMASELINA and PARTY OR GO HOME featuring the talented Dj Tpz and Dj Muzik SA which she released in September 2019 and has been working on her Album since then.
On the 07 September 2020 Candice T released her debut Album titled ONE LOVE which consists of total 11 songs,
On the Album she worked with top musicians, media personalities and talented producers on sets
Artists such as DJ CALL ME, JAY SPITTER, LEON LEE, PERCY SLEASH SA, PATRICK SANKU BOKABA, MJ DA VOCALIST, DJ TPZ, DJ MUZIK SA all were featured on the Album ONE LOVE
Candice T has performed at various big events and shared the stage with industry’s big names such as King monada, Dj thully p, Nastee nev ,Ntsiki Mazwai etc. .. She performed in different provinces across the country such as Gauteng, Mpumalanga, Limpopo, Kwazulu Natal and Northwest and still working harder and hope to fulfill her dream of performing abroad.
She also participated as a motivational speaker on the fight against women and children abuse campaigns events hosted by the Department of Correctional Services , Art and Culture.
The future is bright for this beauty as she is a force to be reckoned with and is also business driven and believes that only the sky is the limit
