Discography & Biography

Benji B, also known as “The CEO of Entertainment,” was born in Alberton, Johannesburg, and raised in Ka Mhinga, Malamulele. In 2003, he moved to Gauteng to further his high school education and later pursued his tertiary studies. Alongside his artistic journey, he has built a successful career as a Fiduciary Specialist and is also an entrepreneur.

His love for music began at an early age, but his family encouraged him to first focus on establishing a corporate career. Despite this, his passion for music remained strong and continued to grow.

Over the years, Benji B has worked with respected figures such as the late Mambawulela and Steve Mgwena. His debut single, “U Ni Khome Kahle,” achieved significant success and introduced him as a promising artist with a unique sound.

He has now released his highly anticipated EP titled “Teka Nkarhi,” which translates to “Take Time.” The project explores themes of love, respect, compassion, and emotional awareness. For this body of work, he collaborated with renowned producer King Salah, known for major hits such as “Warning” with Shandesh and “Fly High” by Lekompo, among others.

Benji B has also worked with DJ Sonnet, a highly versatile Xigaza producer celebrated for his ability to blend diverse styles and create well-balanced, energetic beats. DJ Sonnet’s contribution adds depth, cultural richness, and a vibrant Xigaza feel to the music.

“Teka Nkarhi” represents a powerful milestone in Benji B’s musical journey—an expression of growth, timeless storytelling, and artistic maturity.
